A backup you have never restored from is a hope, not a plan.
Almost every business has something it calls a backup. Far fewer have checked that it actually completed last night, that it covers the systems that matter, that ransomware cannot encrypt it too, and that someone knows how long a full restore would take.
We build backups to be restored from, and we prove it on a schedule.
What's included
Image-based backup
Full server and workstation images, not just files, so a dead machine comes back as a working machine.
Local plus off-site copies
Fast local restores for everyday mistakes, and off-site copies for fires, floods, and theft.
Immutable storage
Backup copies that cannot be altered or deleted for a set period, even by an administrator account, so ransomware cannot take them with it.
Microsoft 365 backup
Mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data backed up independently of Microsoft.
Scheduled restore tests
We restore real systems on a schedule and document the results, including how long it took.
Written recovery plan
Who does what, in what order, with what targets, so the worst day is a checklist and not a scramble.
What you get
Known recovery time
You know how long you would be down, before you need to know.
Ransomware without the ransom
Encrypted systems are rebuilt from clean copies.
Insurance-ready
Documented, tested backups are one of the first things a cyber-insurance application asks about.
What happens next
- A 30-minute intro call. You tell us about your business, your network, and what prompted the call. We ask questions, listen, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
- A scoped, priced proposal. For most clients that starts with a fixed-scope assessment. You see the price and the deliverables before you commit to anything.
- Work begins on an agreed date. Changes are staged with a rollback plan, and you get a written summary of what was done.
Common questions
How often do you test restores?
At least quarterly for critical systems, with results shared in your review. More often if your agreement calls for it.
How long are backups kept?
Retention is set to your business and compliance needs. We will recommend a schedule and you decide.
What if our office is unusable?
The recovery plan covers running critical systems from backup infrastructure or the cloud until you are back in the building.

You might be thinking…
Almost everyone does. The questions that matter are: when was the last restore tested, how long would a full restore take, and can ransomware reach the backup copies? If you can answer all three with confidence, you don't need us. If not, that's the call.
Microsoft and Google protect their infrastructure, not your data. A deleted mailbox or an encrypted SharePoint library is gone after the retention window unless you back it up yourself. The intro call is where we find out how yours is configured.
When to call now rather than later
Insurers now require it because paying ransoms is their largest loss. If your backups aren't immutable, your premium or your coverage is at risk.
Hardware fails on its own schedule. The time to confirm a restore works is before it does.
That was a small rehearsal of a big day. Learn from it now.
Book a call, or ask us to call you
A 30-minute intro call. We ask about your business, your network, and what prompted you to reach out, then tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. If an assessment makes sense, we scope it and price it before any work starts. If something is broken right now, call us.
